What is the Early Career 教师 Program?
多元化办公室, 股本, 包容, and Belonging and the 教务处 are excited to announce the Early Career 教师 Program. We hope you explore the offerings.
With monthly events, this program aims to enhance early career 教师 success at 加州大学洛杉矶分校. These events range from workshops and feedback sessions to networking sessions and informal lunches. 除了, we will incorporate sessions through the National Center for 教师 Development & 多样性(NCFDD).
谁应该参与?
This program is ideal for first-year 教师 (tenure-track and lecturers) and 教师 hired during the past three years. Upon completing the Early Career 教师 Program (by participating in a minimum of 六个事件 下面列出), a letter of completion from the Office of 多样性, 股本, 包容, and Belonging and the 教务处 will be added to your future evaluation Retention, 任期内, and Promotion (RTP) files (e.g., Personnel Information File-PIF).
Monthly emails will be sent to encourage registering for events and provide updates on new events added. 除了, you will be entered into raffles to win one or more 加州大学洛杉矶分校 spirit gear, 校园活动门票, and lunch and coffee vouchers.

教师 who complete the required parts of the program should:
- Be able to navigate the first years at 加州大学洛杉矶分校 effectively by implementing strategies that will increase confidence and well-being as a 教师 member.
- Know the diverse campus community, 的资源, and campus efforts that support diversity, 股本, 包容, 和归属感.
- Be able to connect with and build relationships with students, 教师, and staff from various units across campus.
- Identify 股本-minded strategies to support student success.
How to Register for 节目和活动
Below is a list of planned programs and events. Please click the respective registration links for the events you wish to participate in, 当它们可用时. The sessions will take place on campus. A hybrid option, if available, will be noted in the list below. Participants seeking a completion certificate may receive an invitation to join a Canvas course in addition to attending the monthly sessions.
